Use this addon to force you to take your time. Slow Dialogs: This huge text-box on the right half invites you to just read ahead during the dialogues and not really listen to the excellent voice-overs. With this you can almost remove the enemy glow, your crosshair can do the job. > Camera: I recommend moving it more centered to your character (Horizontal offset -20) My settings: Thickness 10, Intensity: 30, Interactable 20. It makes recognizing enemies more difficult, but it's more thrilling too.

Settings->Interface Ability Bar: Automatic (default) Healthbars: I prefer them on (off for self and friendly NPC, Injured for the rest) but can be turned off for are more TES experience. There are a few settings and Addons that go a long way to really enjoy the beauty of this game and reducing unnecessary overlays that decrease the intensity of your experience. Right now ESO has this weird mix of singleplayer and MMO UI. The leveling and the story is the main event of this game, it will only do harm if you rush through content to get max level fast. Don't grind quests, if you get bored explore a Dungeon or stop playing. You should never succumb to the feeling that you have to complete something or need to finish something in time. Be a RPGer: Use caps to walk in town, talk to many NPCs and LISTEN.

Enjoy the scenery (ESO is quite beautiful). Follow a quest but if you see something on the horizon, wander off and explore it. Your mindset is undoubtledly the most important aspect.
